I did it!

I made a gauge swatch for Roundabout Leaf Tank.

I started with size 7, then tried 8, 9, and 10s. And I can't get gauge. I might be able to on 10.5s or 11s, but then the knitted material is too loose. I'm thinking of going with the 8s or 9s (since oddly the gauge on the 8 and 9 is identical) and maybe adding 2 sts. Because of the construction of the tank, I don't think being off gauge will be too bad until the top shaping, which I'll figure out when I get there.

Oh, and ignore the color in that picture. In real life the green is much more vibrant and pretty.

Oh... and yeah, I went and got my hair cut yesterday!

The pictures aren't the greatest since my hair is so dark and fades into the background, but it is cute and short. It is a bit shorter than I was hoping, but in about 2-3 weeks it should be at a good length. I really like it and I feel so much lighter and cooler (temperature-wise) without the weight of the long hair. Kevin likes it too, so what more could a girl want!? (Ok, if the hairdresser could have also magically given me Rosario's body that would be awesome, but I'll settle for the hair).

good choice on going short!

It looks absolutely great! I love it.

Short looks great! And way to go on gauge... I am having a temper tantrum inside right now. I am working on Ms Marigold, but didn't do a gauge swatch. Now, it's way too big...

Love the new haircut! So cute and flattering. Yay!
