Where to find buttons?

Does anyone know of a good place to purchase wooden buttons like the one on the Republic hat? Maybe I'm just searching in the wrong places, but I can't seem to find any source of wooden buttons. Please help!!

Nik bought her button from Hancock Fabrics for $3 (according to her blog.) You may also want to try www.buttonshoppe.com. They have some great stuff.

Debbie:

Hi! My Google Alert for "buttons" brought me to your question today. I don't know what a Republic hat is or what size of wooden buttons you need. I have a variety of wooden button in my button stash in the attic that I can look through if you want. I would also recommend looking on ebay in the collectible/vintage sewing/button category for wood* buttons. Usually nobody wants them and they go really cheap. There's another button category in the hobby section too. Feel free to contact me if I can help. My website is currently under construction but I hope to have it up and running soon. debbie@onabuttonquest.com
