It was a good day...
Found out from my advisor that the revisions to my dissertation aren't too major. (I guess I really am almost finished, usually we'd have lots of back and forth with revisions). Now it is time to try to coordinate 4 very different schedules to get an official date set for the defense.
Found this on the doorstep...
Guess what's inside!!!
Rockin' Sock Club!! I'm very excited about jumping on this bandwagon. Mostly for the baby skein of emergency sock yarn! Haha!!
Pretty Monsoon!

What a relief! It won't be long now! And the best reward for a job well done is socks that rock! Just wanted to come out of delurker mode to say YOU ROCK!

I just wanted to let you know I'm not very fond of you at the moment. Why you ask? Because you just HAD to go and make the most gorgeous Klaralund sweater out of the most perfect yarn in the best colorway ever! This may sound like a good thing but now I HAVE to make one like it! I just bought some 11 skeins of Noro SG and now I need 12 more! (Just to be sure, and have a bunch left over of course!!) Plus I need the pattern book. So Thank You for being so disgustingly adorable and wonderful at knitting! Haha, just kidding, I love your blog and I'm super jealous of your membership in socks that rock. I'll have to copy that to next year ;P I found your blog when I was searching for Noro SG sweater patterns and then search for Klaralunds. I know, I know I brought it on myself.

Congrats on being so close to the end! If your defense is anything like mine was, you'll get razzed a bit, but mostly it's a formality. You're almost done with the hard part.
Gorgeous yarn. I'm jealous. :) Maybe next year.
