More maybe just green because of a poorly functioning camera.

My Rockin' Sock Club package for April arrived today. Here's a horrible picture of the yarn...

The yarn is a merino and silk blend called Silke and the color is Walking on the Wild Tides. It is incredibly soft, so I'm anxious to start knitting with it. The colors aren't necessarily ones that I would have picked off the shelf, but I certainly like them much more than the Monsoon colors.

I finished the first Lucy sock about 30 minutes ago, but I'm not even going to try a picture since the camera seems to be less functional than when I took the Wild Tides picture earlier. I really should cast on for the second sock, but I'm very tempted to just start on the new kit.

Tomorrow is my last class for the semester. While I am very excited, I'm also kind of sad because I really enjoyed this class and my students were fabulous. I've still got at least a month, if not a little more, at job 2. Things are quickly wrapping up as my graduate school career is nearly over. In fact, Kevin and I just found a new apartment and if all goes well we'll be signing the lease on Friday and moving in throughout the month of May. Who knew that Craigs List would be the best apartment finding resource on the internet!
