Pretty Pictures

So, I worked from home today. I graded a bunch of students' papers and then suddenly got inspired to make a photo-box-thinga-majig. I followed directions from Lolly's blog and cut-up a box and taped on some tissue paper. I haven't gotten too fancy or taken too many pictures, but it was certainly simple enough (and a good way to avoid the rest of the papers I have to grade).

Here is the first Gems Mitt from the Interweave Holiday (2007) issue:

Remember the poor, little too tight Snicket sock. Well, it has been redone into the Ravenish sock. I basically just repeated the Raven cuff pattern from the latest RSC installment. I added the ribbing on the bottom of the foot because it would have been a little loose otherwise.

This is the Naughty/Nice scarf from Son of Stitch n Bitch. And finally... I got a great little birthday gift in the mail from Kevin's parents and sister...

Bo Peep's Sock Yarn by Farmhouse Yarns in the colorway Storm. It is 75% merino and 25% nylon. I can't wait to finish up those Ravenishes and cast on for some Stormy socks!!
