One Trick Pony

Here are the lovely finished Colinette Jitterbug Socks.

I love them very much. I love the colors, the fit, and the feel. However, I won't probably ever buy Colinette again. Yes, I am very bitter about the 2 knots that tied in 2 different dye lots to the original dye lot. Here's a better look...

I asked Kevin when I was wearing them if he knew which was the bad sock, and he could easily point out the one with less yellows. The amount of yellow was a big part of why I picked the particular skein that I did. Oh well...

They are still very pretty!

What's on the needles next? I think... maybe... possibly... a sweater! Let that settle in! I'll leave you with one more sock picture to recover from the shock.

Cute socks, even with the slight difference in shading! I've heard the same complaint from other knitters about the knots and different dyelots. I have some jitterbug...

Pretty socks! I know I'm a bit behind in commenting but whatever. There is a big discussion on Ravelry about Jitterbug...many knots, different dyelots, etc., so it wasn't just you and now I'm glad I didn't buy any...even though it does make pretty socks...
