My 15 weeks of summer exercise ends today. I started after school ended in May and I'm ending as school is about to start again on Monday. Now I'm not quitting exercising, I'm moving into my Fall semester exercise plan, which is essentially the same as the summer plan, but I find that putting it into manageable blocks is helpful motivationally. Here are my stats:
- Maximum estimated weight loss: 10 lbs (estimated because taking highest Wii recorded weight and lowest Wii recorded weight)
- Average minutes exercising per week (5 days): 290 min.
- Average Wii minutes per weekday: 46 min.
- Number is belt holes gained since start: 1
- Favorite Wii activities: Advanced Step and Expert Boxing
- Favorite Yoga poses: Warrior and Sun Salutation
- Average number of glasses of water drank per day: 3 (this is 3 more than before starting exercising)
- Average number of glasses of soda drank per day: 1 (compared to 2-3 before)
I've started wearing hand and ankle weights while doing Wii Fit and my workout DVDs. They really help to increase the intensity of the workouts. I currently have 1lb weights, but am thinking about getting heavier ones in another couples of weeks.
Hopefully since I've established a good pattern of working out and using the Wii Fit, I'll be able to maintain it during the semester when things get hectic and crazy.
