Non-stop knitting = FO

Last time I checked in, I had just started Loppem. And now, I'm finished.

Ten days for a sweater is a pretty good pace (even if said sweater is knit in one piece and doesn't really have sleeves). Once it finishes blocking, I'll get some pictures of it on, but it looks really cute.

I made quite a few changes as I was knitting this. Most notably, I added an extra cable repeat before starting the sleeves, which makes the length from armpit to bottom about 12" instead of 9". I also changed the positioning of the decreases around the yoke, although I didn't change the first set, so the decreases aren't perfectly aligned, but that's ok. I also dropped the position of the top button to the third yoke decrease instead of fourth. Finally, instead of picking up and adding stitches to the sleeves, which looked silly, I just slip-stitch crocheted every other sleeve stitch to close the gapping and puffiness.

I really love this sweater and will likely wear it a lot.

Ok, now I should really get started on that knitting I vowed to finish as part of the knitting Olympics!

Beautiful. I look forward to seeing it on you. Via the web of course. :)

Wow! That's fantastic! I bet it looks great on! :-)
