So it is only 7:50am, and I've only been awake for about 20 minutes, but already I've had the oddest experience. As I was putting in my contacts and getting ready to work out, the doorbell buzzed. I figured that it was the lady across the hall, who a few times has forgotten her keys, but it seemed a bit early for her to be buzzing. So I finished up with my contacts and went into the living room and heard talking in the hallway between the apartments that mentioned my car. So I opened the door despite being in my workout clothes and there was this perfect stereotype of a repo-man talking with the guy who lives across the hall.

From what we were able to understand. Someone died about two months ago who supposedly lived here and had the same car as me, although several years more recent. There had been no payments on the car so it was going to be repossessed and he was told that it was parked outside the building. The only type of that car outside the building is mine. Apparently the phone numbers that the repo-guy has don't function. After he left, my neighbor and I concluded that who ever owns the car like mine is lying to the repo-people and giving fake addresses and phone numbers.
But get this... according to my neighbor, this repo-man was here two weeks ago and at that time wanted to take my car!!! I was at work at the time and my neighbor was nice enough to defend my ownership of my car for me and not allow the repo-dude to take it away!! Isn't that crazy?!?! Can you imagine coming home and your car is gone because it was repossessed as someone else's?!

That is so very odd. Do you think the repo man will come back? (And I love the poster; it's so retro!)
