- Grading hell is never ending. I finished the papers that were overdue on my end. Now I have another set of papers, exams, and notes to grade. I graded the multiple choice part of the exams yesterday because that is easy, but I was so depressed that my easy exam was apparently impossible that I gave up on grading them.
- I got my haircut today! The hair stylist didn't recognize me (it has been several months), but as she was cutting my hair, she recognized my hair. She kept telling me over and over that my natural color was beautiful and that I have no reason to dye it. She even got the color chart and told me that I am officially a dark blonde (or little brown). I love love love my new haircut. Hopefully I look good in the faculty photos that I had taken today.
- I am really excited about my research. I have over 900 participants. I only analyzed the data from about 600 or so, but that results are interesting and extend what I have found before. I submitted two poster proposals (and while I'd love for both of them and the third that I'll send later to be accepted, I'm not sure how I'll afford to attend three conferences... especially with one in California).
- Oh and one last bullet on research, if my idea for a study in the Spring goes well, I might have enough to write up an article to submit for publication over the summer. Woo!
- Scabbard is still chugging along. A busy weekend meant that I didn't get to knit much. I am about 40 rows and a bind off away from completion.
- I ordered yarn for another sweater. I ordered enough to make short-sleeve versions of either of the two I posted a week or so ago.
- I'm eating Mexican tonight!
- Kevin and I took our first excursion to Trader Joe's on Monday. Spinach/artichoke dip is the greatest thing in the entire world. I wish that I could eat it constantly.

Oo, I love spinach/artichoke dip from restaurants -- is TJ's similar?
That is so cool about your research! Nice going! :-)

hi! i never comment here but i'm popping in. firstly, we have a trader joe's a few blocks from our house, and we buy everything there because its the greatest store on the planet. have you tried their artichoke jalapeno dip? we'll eat an entire container in one sitting, with their lowfat sea salt pita chips.
secondly, that is awesome about your research. is the california conference in socal, by any chance? if it is, you know you and kevin are always welcome to crash with us!
