Tentatively Knitting

I still don't know what officially happened to my elbow (sprain? dislocation? broken?) because I wasn't able to get to my appointment on Wednesday because of the weather. So I have to wait another week before I can see the orthopedist.

On the good news side of the elbow, the swelling is just about entirely gone, although the bruising is still extensive and colorful. I can't bend more than 90 degrees or extend it 100% straight, but I can use it more everyday. I can make peanut butter sandwiches again. I can type with two hands. I can actually write, though not for too long.

And, I can knit!! So well that I busted one of my Knitpicks needles. The cable snapped off the needle. I am confident enough in knitting again that I think I might pick up the sweater that I had just started the day before all this drama.
