Writing a lecture on reliability and validity is not the most exciting thing, so I can understand to an extent why my brain seems to have left me. I just took a wee break from lecture writing to look at the Ravelry forums. After replying to a few things, I closed the web browser with the intention of returning to the lecture. Instead, I realized that I ended up staring blankly at the computer screen (which was showing my desktop which is a picture of yarn, so maybe it wasn't so bad) for like 30 seconds without a thought in my head. It's not like I'm tired because I had extra sleep this morning and I'm not hungry because I just ate lunch. I think my brain just revolted from any more contemplation of research methods. This doesn't bode well for my students being able to stay wake tomorrow when listening to this lecture...
