Last night at knitting, I noticed another error in the Berroco pattern for Paron. I confirmed with Kathy and Cordelia that I wasn't just reading it wrong. I emailed Berroco and got a response of "oh, thanks for mentioning it." They really don't seem too happy when you tell them there are errors in their patterns. I suspect the problems with this particular pattern are because someone knit it and wrote the pattern as an after-thought and it was never test knit before publishing. Both errors (in yardage and in the pattern) are ones that a test knitter would not miss. These weren't small typos.
Here's my favorite part.
Look at those corners!!
Artsy shot!
After some hassles with delivery, I finally got the yarn to make this.
Oh, and here's a pair of socks that have been slowly taking shape...
I hope to get Paron finished this weekend in between lots of work work work. I really hate the end of the semester. I need to make my students take all of their exams and write their papers at the beginning of the semester, so we can just watch movies at the end.

Wow, what a gorgeous sweater! I totally want the pattern, especially since you did the grunt work in finding the errata! ;)
