Take My Survey - Enter to Win a Prize

My research needs participants, especially male participants. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. First there are some basic demographic questions, and then a story with follow up questions about how you think the individual in the story would act. Finally, there are three brief questionnaires about your personal experiences.

Perspective Taking Survey

You can only complete the survey once from a single computer. However, you can enter for more chances to win by recruiting friends, family, and co-workers to fill out the survey. For yourself and then each person you recruit, please send me email (fairchild_kimberly AT hotmail DOT com) with the following information and Survey Contest in the subject line:

  • What number did you (or the person you recruited) enter when asked "Please select a number."
  • Did you (or the person you recruited) enter male or female as your sex/gender?

At the end of the month (May 31st), I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner. The winner will receive fun Ravelry-themed gifts.

You CANNOT take the survey multiple times, but you CAN enter multiple times by recruiting others to take the survey and emailing me their answers to the two questions above (or having them email me and including your name). Additionally, each MALE participant you recruit will count as two chances to win!!

All responses to the survey are strictly anonymous. Even by emailing me your (or your recruits) answers to the two questions above, I will not be able to associate individuals with their responses. This survey is also posted at several psychology research websites and other locations around the web.

Sad Face/Happy Face

Sad Face:
No love for my survey, even with the lure of a fun prize! I've got a great Ravelry mug and bag and stickers and clings, but only 4 entries.

Happy Face:
I ran a mile this morning! I know that probably doesn't seem like much to anyone else, but as a self-professed running hater, I was really proud of myself. Ran 1 mile, walked 1 mile home. I'm hoping to slowly work up to running the full 2 miles.

Sad Face:
Next sunday I have to sit through boooooooooooooooring graduation and I can't bring my knitting because I'm sitting with the students and have to be a good role model. Bleh!

Happy Face:
The semester is OVER!!! Woo!!

Sad Face:
I have nothing to knit.

Happy Face:
I just ordered this book for some inspiration.
