Noooooooo!!! I hope the store will replace them, at least. But no knitting with yummy yarn until then! Boooooooo!

Are they KnitPicks? I had a much-used pair of cables do that to me a few months ago. I emailed KP customer support and explained what happened, what size the needles were and what length and they sent me a free replacement. I know it's not the perfect solution, but at least you shouldn't have to pay for a new set.
